Do we have your proof of identity and address?

What we need from you

Before we open the account we need the adult representative and the child to visit one of our branches to provide proof of identity and address. Please make sure you bring the original documents with you as they will be required. There’s no need for an appointment.

Proof of identity for the child:

Acceptable documents for the child:

  • A Passport
  • Original birth certificate

Proof of address for the child:

Proof of address in the parent/guardian’s name is acceptable as proof of address for the child where you both reside at the same address.

If you are the parent/guardian opening the account and don’t reside with the child, proof of address is required for the parent/guardian which they do reside with.

If you didn’t upload your documents while completing the online application, you need to visit one of our branches in Northern Ireland and bring documents (e.g. driving licence, passport, recent utility bill) to confirm your identity and address, there is no need for an appointment. Please make sure you bring the original versions with you.
