We‘ll send you an alert about your current account1 for the following reasons:

  • If there aren’t enough funds in your account to pay a standing order or direct debit
  • A payment was refused due to lack of funds
  • If your current account has gone into an unarranged overdraft

We don’t charge for sending you text alerts. Most mobile phone companies don’t charge you for receiving texts, although you should check with them if you’re unsure – especially if you think you might receive texts whilst overseas.
