Bank of Ireland UK launch customer focused degree programme in partnership with Ulster University

Bank of Ireland UK has launched a Degree programme to provide their employees with the opportunity to complete the fully funded part-time course while taking on a new role within the organisation. Successful participants will be awarded a BSc (Hons) Degree in Leading on Customer Operations.

Developed in partnership with Ulster University Business School, the degree is an industry focused course which provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge, skills and behaviours necessary to play a principal role in shaping the future of customer operations.

Bringing together expertise from business insights, digital transformation and human centred design, the course focuses on the development of key skills including leadership and teamwork, adaptability, problem solving, collaboration, emotional intelligence, creativity, digital transformation, risk management and entrepreneurial skills.

A total of 21 employees from a variety of levels across the bank have been selected to participate in the programme which will see them continue in their professional role while studying via a hybrid learning environment combining online and in-person teaching.

The Bank of Ireland UK NI Higher Level Apprenticeship Scheme in partnership with Ulster University Business School is funded through the Department for the Economy’s Higher Level Apprenticeship programme.
