Young Enterprise NI
Young Enterprise is a charity that reaches over 90,000 young people each year with their range of enterprise education programmes, learning them about business and work. Young people take part in fun activities where they get opportunities to develop enterprise skills, hear from local business volunteers and become competent in the skills that employers look for. This means communication, collaboration, decision making, problem solving and more.
For Secondary School Students
In secondary school, students can take part in Young Enterprise interactive business challenges that help them get ready for the world of work. They work alongside business people from their local communities and learn more about their jobs and how they got started into their career journeys. Students also get a chance to start and run their own small business, learning what it is like to be an entrepreneur.
Bank of Ireland UK is proud to partner with Young Enterprise NI as an ESG Business Backer and to support the delivery of the following Secondary Programme:
Personal Economics Year 10/11
This programme helps young people learn how to manage money. They learn about budgeting, saving, credit and debt and how to make smart choices with money. These are important skills for life, work and the future.
