Splash for Cash at Stormont

08 May 2015

Would you like to slide down a 100m waterslide in Belfast? Better still would you like to see your boss hurtling down a waterslide in Belfast? Well now you can and at the same time, raise funds for Cash For Kids and Co-operation Ireland, sponsored by Bank of Ireland UK.

For the weekend of 23 and 24 May, Splash on the Hill will see Stormont turned into a waterpark with a giant 100m waterslide taking centre stage.

Bosses are being urged to take on the challenge and encourage staff to sponsor their watery descent.

Sean Sheehan, Director NI Consumer and Small Business Bank of Ireland UK, is preparing himself for the challenge. He said:

“As a fundraising event, this one tops the lot. I am going to take the plunge and no doubt will suffer some humiliation from our staff here. But it’s all for a great cause – Cash For Kids and Co-operation Ireland.  Therefore Bank of Ireland UK is delighted to sponsor the event in support of one of its flagship charities.”

Co-operation Ireland boss Peter Sheridan is also taking part. He said:

“This is certainly one of our more novel fundraising events and so I have been encouraged to show leadership and dive down. My staff seem very willing to sponsor me but as it’s in a good cause I’ve psyched myself up for it.

“On the serious side, it has been organised as a really good family day out and it will generate funds for our many youth leadership programmes, which take place across Northern Ireland.”

So slide over to coolfm.co.uk/splash and register your place to slide, glide or splash your descent.

The Cool FM roadshow will be there to cover all the fun.
