Belfast Chamber Celebrates Excellence launching the Belfast Business Awards with Principal Sponsor, Bank of Ireland UK

05 March 2015

Is your business the best at customer service?

Is it a superb company to work for?

Do you make the best scones, dresses or offer the finest dining in the city?

Or perhaps a recent marketing initiative is one you are particularly proud of?

Whatever it is that makes your business brilliant, Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce wants to celebrate it, as it launches the Belfast Business Awards 2015 after a three-year hiatus.

Speaking at today’s launch, Paul McMahon, President of Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce said: “We are absolutely delighted to be launching the Belfast Business Awards which seek to reward and celebrate Belfast’s brilliant businesses, their staff and their customers.

“A huge amount of investment has gone into making this year’s awards even bigger and better than they were in previous years. 15 categories have been carefully selected to cover many areas of business within our vibrant city from retail, hospitality, digital marketing, sustainability, to growth and individual awards.

“And of course, the Awards wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic sponsors, 16 in total, who I would like to personally thank.

“Special thanks also goes to Bank of Ireland UK as our principal sponsor who have been behind us from the very start, and their commitment and support which they have shown has been invaluable.”

Paul concluded, “We encourage as many businesses to enter as possible. Entry is free and accessible from www.belfastchamber.com.”

Sean Sheehan, Regional Director NI Consumer and Small Business, Bank of Ireland UK, commented: “Bank of Ireland UK is delighted to be the principal sponsor of The Belfast Chamber Business Awards 2015. We share the Chamber’s passion for business and we look forward to celebrating business life and rewarding best practice through these Awards.”

Sean concluded: “The business community in Northern Ireland is working hard to deliver its ambitions and Bank of Ireland UK is proud to support and recognize its achievements. We wish the Belfast Chamber of Commerce every success for the Belfast Business Awards 2015.”

The Belfast Business Awards will take place at Belfast City Hall on Wednesday 27th May 2015. If you are interested in entering the Belfast Business Awards visit www.belfastchamber.com Entry deadline is Tuesday 31st March 2015.
