Bank of Ireland business series puts treasury risk in the spotlight

Bank of Ireland is set to host more than 50 local businesses as part of a series of events aimed at supporting both small and large companies to better understand and manage their levels of treasury risk and solutions.

The event, a key element of Bank of Ireland’s Business Financial Wellbeing programme, will take place at The National Stadium, Belfast, on 24th May, with a number of relevant topics, ranging from foreign exchange risk management, debt refinancing, interest rate risk management and investment and financial planning considerations.

Announcing the Bank of Ireland event, Henry Cleary, Head of Global Markets NI at Bank of Ireland commented: “The management of financial risks is of critical importance for any company with exposures to the financial markets. Our senior Global Markets colleagues and partners at Davy UK will provide insight and perspective at the event on the diverse variety of areas where risks can arise.

“Our purpose in delivering this series is to help local businesses understand the treasury management and risk strategies that are available, enabling them to better navigate treasury risks.  We look forward to rolling more of these events out in the coming months as we help our customers and local businesses to grow and thrive.”
