Bank of Ireland Armagh branch team with invites

Nathan Jones, Branch Manager at Bank of Ireland Armagh, recently welcomed customers and representatives from local community organisations to take a tour of the newly modernised branch followed by a reception. The refurbishment is part of the £7m investment in branches and new technology services in Northern Ireland.

Those in attendance included Art O’Hagan, CPS Property & Chair, City Centre Management and Rory Moynagh from Derrynoose GAC.

Derrynoose GAC was established in the early 1900s, and is one of a small number of clubs that participates in the “All Code of Gaelic Games”.  Extending its reach off the pitch, the Club recently received funding from Bank of Ireland through its Begin Together Community Fund to develop its health and wellbeing programme in partnership with the Public Health Agency NI, delivering a series of events for community benefit.

Speaking at the event, William Thompson, Head of Consumer Banking NI at Bank of Ireland said: “Our branch network is a very important part of how we serve our customers and we are delighted to welcome so many customers to our newly refurbished and modern branch facility in Armagh.

“The team here in the branch provide a warm welcome and great service to all our customers and I would encourage everyone right across the community to drop in a see how we can meet their personal and business banking needs.”
