Bank of Ireland UK’s Enterprise Week is actively supporting local, ambitious businesses with a week-long series of events

Bank of Ireland UK hosted a seminar entitled ‘Scaling Your Business for Growth’ as part of its Enterprise Week initiative running from the 12th-19th May 2017.

Guest speakers included Alan Bridle, UK Economist, Bank of Ireland UK who provided an economic update and discussed managing risk, challenges and change with particular reference to cross-border trade. Margaret Hearty of InterTrade Ireland provided an overview of the funding and support available for exporters and cross border trading businesses. Finally, Les Walker, Global Markets, Bank of Ireland UK set out the way his team can help to manage currency risks for international trade.

The event was held in the Canal Court Hotel in Newry and hosted by Geraldine O’Hagan, Senior Branch Manager, Bank of Ireland UK, Newry.
