The older Bank of Ireland note series, including the Queen’s University Belfast series and the Bushmills 2008 and 2013 series, are no longer in circulation.
Some notes may display different dates and signatures from those shown in our examples; however, the security features remain the same.
These notes still retain their value. To receive value for them, they must be lodged to a bank account.
If you are not a Bank of Ireland customer, please lodge the notes through your own bank. Bank of Ireland is unable to exchange or swap withdrawn notes directly for non-Bank of Ireland customers.
