Investment Outlook in focus at business event

Business leaders from across the North West gathered at the Ebrington Hotel for a Davy and Bank of Ireland Investment Outlook event.

The session explored how global trends, from geopolitics to inflation and interest rates, are influencing decision-making for businesses, investors and consumers.

Bringing together Bank of Ireland’s local market knowledge and customer relationships with Davy’s investment expertise, the session provided practical perspectives to help attendees navigate uncertainty, identify opportunities and plan confidently for the future.

Speaking at the event, Donough Kilmurray, Chief Investment Officer, Davy, said:

“The geopolitical landscape continues to evolve at pace, creating both challenges and opportunities. Bringing clients together for conversations like these allow us to share insights and perspectives with our clients on the issues shaping markets, economies and investment decisions, helping them make informed choices to safeguard and protect their wealth in an increasingly complex environment.”

George Higginson, Managing Director, Everyday Banking, Bank of Ireland UK, said:

“In a world that can often feel uncertain, understanding the factors shaping our investments and finances has never been more important. Whether it’s managing a business, planning for the future or making everyday financial decisions, taking time to understand the trends influencing the landscape can help people make more informed choices.”
