CO3 and Bank of Ireland UK host Finance for Good event

CO3 and Bank of Ireland hosted a Finance for Good event, part of a new series of collaborative events under the Better Banking Forum, in Belfast this morning.

The new forum has been established to provide a platform for the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to come together with banking partners to learn, share best practice and work together to help shape future banking solutions.

At today’s event, attendees heard more about current fraud trends and tips from Allison Ewing, Fraud Manager Education & Awareness at Bank of Ireland to keep them and their organisations scam safe. Yvonne White, Customer Vulnerability Manager and Ian Ruck, Customer Outcomes Lead, Bank of Ireland then gave some insights on the practical ways the Bank is working to better meet the needs of customers with additional needs.

There was also an important and interactive discussion on some of the key challenges charity and third sector organisations face when managing complex financial structures, and the importance of a strong banking partner to support them.
