Bank of Ireland marks 200 years of local services

 

 

Geraldine O’Hagan, Senior Bank Manager at Bank of Ireland UK, today welcomed Gail Goldie, CEO, Bank of Ireland UK along with members of the bank’s UK Board, local customers, businesses and community representatives to celebrate 200 years of Bank of Ireland in Newry.

The event featured a panel discussion, featuring longstanding business customer, Stephen Cromie, owner and founder of Exact CNC (NI) Ltd; Edwina Flynn, President, Newry Chamber of Commerce and Jacinta Linden, CEO, Bolster Community which the bank has supported in recent years.

Speaking at the event Bank of Ireland UK CEO Gail Goldie said,

“These milestones are a rare but important opportunity to celebrate our history while looking to the future. We are ambitious for our customers and the communities we serve. We continue to invest in services and improvements for our customers, and are ready to embrace the opportunities ahead.”
