Payment Transaction History

 

Closing your Personal Current Account (PCA) or a Business Current Account (BCA)?

When you close your account your can request up to 5 years of payment transaction history.

We will send this to you electronically. There are instructions for viewing the information in your account closing statement. When you get your account closing statement, you’ll have 60 days to see and save your data.

If you’re a former customer, you can also ask to see this information at any point within 5 years of closing your Personal Current Account or Business Current Account. You can do this by contacting our Customer Services on either 0345 7365 333 or 0345 7365 555.

Please note: The number of years of payment transaction history we will give you will depend on the time between your account being closed and you requesting this information. For example, if you closed your account 3 years ago you will be given 2 years of payment transaction history.

FSCS Protection

Your eligible deposits with Bank of Ireland (UK) plc are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme, the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme. This limit is applied to the total of any deposits you have with the following: Bank of Ireland UK and Post Office Money and savings accounts under the AA Savings brand provided by Bank of Ireland UK. Any total deposits you hold above the limit between these brands are unlikely to be covered.
